Food delivery giants Zomato and Swiggy hike platform fees to ₹6, a 20% increase in key cities like Delhi-NCR, and Bengaluru to increase their earnings. Both Zomato and Swiggy started charging platform fees only last year. Zomato, with 2.2–2.5 million daily orders, could see ₹25 lakh additional daily profit, aiming for ₹1.25–1.5 crore daily revenue.
