A NASA-run dashboard indicates that five asteroids will pass Earth between July 8 and July 16, albeit they will do so at safe distances (JPL). The JPL tracks the asteroids' motions, which range in diameter from fifty to two hundred feet. The first asteroid, 2024 MT1, will pass Earth on July 8 at a distance of 936,000 miles. On July 10, 2024 ME1 will pass Earth at a distance of 2,700,000 miles, and on July 11, 2022 YS5 will approach Earth at a distance of 2,620,000 miles.
