Nearly 1000 Indian nationals, mainly students, have returned home from Bangladesh amid violent protests against job quotas, which have left over 100 dead. A curfew and army deployment followed the clashes. The Indian High Commission and the assistant high commissions are in "regular touch with more than 4,000 students remaining in various universities in Bangladesh.
