A report by the Economic Times reveals that over 100 Indian pharma companies have failed quality tests on cough syrups, which contain toxins linked to over 141 children's deaths in Gambia, Cameroon, and Uzbekistan, and have caused an Acute Kidney Injury cluster among them.
