L&T plans to expand staff through FY26 to manage larger projects, CFO indicates

Larsen & Toubro’s CFO R Shankar Raman stated a 10% workforce increase in 2023-24, adding 8,000 employees. Despite international order slowdowns in Q4 2023-24 and expected domestic slowdowns in Q1-Q2 2024-25, L&T will continue hiring till 2025-26 to manage its Rs 475,809 crore order book efficiently.
