The BSF has issued a high alert along the 4,096 km India-Bangladesh border due to recent unrest in Bangladesh. This came after the protestors demanded Hasina's resignation amid quota protests that has left almost 300 dead. BSF Director General Daljit Singh Chawdhary is in Kolkata to review security measures.
