Presenting the Union Budget 2024 in the Lok Sabha, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman said that the government is committed to increasing the role of women in economic development. Budget 2024 on Tuesday includes over Rs 3 lakh crore for programs to support women and girls across multiple ministries to advance women-led development.
